Hong Kong Abilympics 2026
The Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service will organize the 11th Hong Kong Abilympics 2026. We now invite students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) of our university to take an active part in the competition and showcase their vocational skills and talents.
Known as the "Olympics of Abilities" for people with disabilities/students with SEN, the Abilympics is indeed a celebration of their gifts and talents. Organized once every 4 years, the Abilympics has taken place both locally and internationally since 1981. Through the Hong Kong Abilympics 2026, the winners of the international contests may have the opportunity to represent Hong Kong to participate in the 11th International Abilympics in 2027 in Finland.
A total of 24 events is available in this Abilympics, covering baking, design, computer technology, service, and other fields. It serves as a valuable platform for students to demonstrate their professional vocational skills and technical excellence on both the local and international stages.
