Medical Referral Scheme

The Scheme is designed for students who have not yet received an SEN diagnosis, offering them consultation with the specialist. The Scheme will support each student with up to three consultations with the specialist, including medication capped at a maximum of HK$2,000 per claim. For students in need, please schedule an appointment with our SEN Advisors or email us at sen@ust.hk to discuss the appropriate arrangement. 

 

Scholarship and Bursary Schemes

There are various scholarship and bursary schemes available for students with SEN to apply. Students who have declared their SEN are reached out through the HKUST email when there are opportunities available for them.

There are eight types of SEN: hearing impairment, visual impairment, physical disability, intellectual disability, speech and language impairment, special learning difficulties, attention deficit/hyperactive disorder and autistic spectrum disorder.
