Li Kwan Hung Education Fund 2026/27

The Li Kwan Hung Education Fund 2026/27 aims to assist students with SEN who have financial difficulties in studying with their able-bodied counterparts in local educational institutions at various levels.

Criteria of Application

• Hong Kong permanent residents;

• Students with physical disabilities, special educational needs (SENs) (including autism/attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder/dyslexic), chronic illness, visual impairment or hearing impairment;

• Full-time students studying with their able-bodied counterparts in local educational, technical or vocational training institutes at primary, secondary, post-secondary, university or post-graduate level;

• In need of financial assistance for educational purposes.

• Estimated expenses of the applicant for the academic year are not covered by other bursaries or funds (according to the status as at the application deadline). 

Priority

• In case of insufficient funds for allocation to all eligible applicants, priorities will be given to those with good academic achievement.

Application and Selection Procedures 

• Application forms can be downloaded from the website of Hong Kong PHAB Association here.

• If you would like SEN Support to make the recommendation for you, please submit your application no later than Friday, 25 September 2026, and expect to get back the completed application form on or before 9 October 2026.

• Submit your duly completed application to the address below on or before Thursday, 15 October 2026. Late applications or applications without submitting the required information or supporting documents before the due date will not be considered.

• Suitable candidates will be shortlisted after a screening by the Finance Committee of the Association. They may be invited to attend a selection interview

• The selection result is expected to be announced before the end of December 2026. The decision of the Committee shall be final. In no circumstances will the Committee be required to explain why any application has not been successful.
