Introduction
The “Pilot Scheme on New Service Protocol for ADHD+,” funded by the Health Bureau, began providing services in March 2021. The multidisciplinary team at the SAHK provides appropriate and timely community support services and training to children, adolescents, and adults aged 6 -25 in New Territories East who are suspected of having Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) and associated comorbidities.
Eligibility
- Adults aged 18 –25 who are suspected of having AD/HD and associated comorbidities, but who have not been diagnosed nor have they received corresponding intervention or support services.
- Reside in New Territories East (with written documents for verification)
Service Highlights
- A comprehensive, multidisciplinary team approach to supporting service users.
- Evidence-based interventions in group format (around 6-8 sessions)
- Content of training including but not limited to executive function training, social skills training, interpersonal skills training, mindfulness, attention training, life skills guidance, vocational counseling, and community support
- This scheme does not provide any medical diagnoses or assessment reports
- Free-of-charge
