About Marfan syndrome
Marfan syndrome is a genetic disorder of connective tissue. Patients tend to be unusually tall as the disorder causing people with the condition with long limbs and long, thin fingers and toes. Marfan syndrome can involve defects of heart valves and aorta, as well as lungs, eyes, dural sac surrounding the spinal cord, the skeleton and the hard palate.
